The MOXA NPort 5110-T is a rugged 1-port RS-232 serial device server built to bridge legacy serial hardware to 10/100 Mbps Ethernet networks. Engineered for harsh industrial settings, this wide-temperature model operates reliably from -40°C up to 75°C, making it suitable for factory floors, remote cabinet deployments and outdoor automation sites where standard serial servers cannot hold stable performance.
It supports baud rates from 110 bps to 230.4 kbps and flexible working modes including TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Real COM and Reverse Telnet. Real COM and Linux Real TTY drivers let existing serial software run without code changes, so you can keep using established applications while accessing devices over LAN. Configure via web console, Telnet or Moxa’s Windows utility for simple batch setup.
The compact metal housing supports desktop, wall or optional DIN-rail mounting. It accepts 12–48 VDC power and features built-in 1.5 kV magnetic isolation on the Ethernet port to guard against electrical surges. This reliable converter is widely used for card readers, access control terminals and legacy industrial sensors that require stable serial-to-Ethernet conversion in extreme temperature environments.
