Weidmüller offers plug-in and screwed cross-connection systems for screw-connection

terminal blocks. The plug-in cross-connections feature easy handling and quick installation.

This saves a great deal of time during installation in comparison with screwed solutions. This also ensures that all poles always contact reliably.

Fitting and changing cross connections

The fitting and changing of cross-connections is a trouble-free and fast operation:

– Insert the cross-connection into the cross connection channel in the terminal...and press it fully home. (The cross-connection may not project from the channel.) Remove a cross-connection by simply prising it out with a screwdriver.

Shortening cross-connections

Cross-connections can be shortened in length using a suitable cutting tool, However, three contact elements must always be retained.

Breaking out contact elements

If one or more (max. 60 % for reasons of stability and temperature rise) of the contact elements are broken out of the cross-connections, terminals may be bypassed to suit the application.

Caution:

Contact elements must not be deformed!

Note: By using manually cut ZQV and crossconnections with blank cut edges (> 10 poles) the voltage reduces to 25 V.
