Han® Push-In module: for fast and intuitive on-site assembly

Harting’s new tool-free push-in wiring technology enables users to save up to 30% of time in the connector assembly process of electrical installations.

Assembly time during on-site installation can be reduced by up to 30%

Push-in connection technology is an advanced version of the standard cage spring clamp for simple on-site connections. The focus is on ensuring consistent quality and robustness while ensuring fast and simple assembly of the connector. The various types of plug connectors in the Han-Modular® product portfolio are suitable for various conductor cross-sections to meet the needs of different customers.

Different types of conductors can be assembled using Han® Push-In modules: Available types include stranded conductors without ferrules, conductors with ferrules (insulated/uninsulated) and solid conductors. The wider scope of application enables this termination technology to meet the needs of more market segments.

Tool-less connection makes operation easier

Push-in connection technology is particularly suitable for on-site installation: it allows users to respond quickly and flexibly to different needs and environments. Since this connection technology is tool-free, no additional assembly preparation steps are required. As a result, users can not only save work time and resources, but also further reduce costs.

During maintenance operations, push-in technology also allows for easier access to parts in tight operating space environments, leaving only enough space to pull out and reinsert the tubular end. The technology is therefore particularly suitable where a high degree of flexibility is required, such as when changing tools on a machine. With the help of plug-in modules, the relevant operations can be completed easily and quickly without tools.

Advantages overview:

  1. Wires can be inserted directly into the contact chamber, reducing assembly time by up to 30%
  2. Tool-free connection, easy operation
  3. Greater cost savings compared to other connection technologies
  4. Excellent flexibility – suitable for ferrules, stranded and solid conductors
  5. Compatible with identical products using other connection technologies
