To address this issue, a leading UK solar developer, leveraging its comprehensive experience from project design and construction to post-construction operation and maintenance, has focused on developing "Solar Energy Storage Systems (BESS)".

By combining energy storage systems with solar power plants, the previously intermittent solar assets are upgraded into more stable and resilient energy infrastructure. Simultaneously, this "local generation, local consumption" model better supports the operation of the regional power grid.

One benchmark project in eastern England alone exemplifies the value of this model: Annual power generation: 20,000 MWh

Electricity demand met: 5,000 homes

However, as more and more hybrid energy sites are built in remote, unattended areas, the company faces new challenges: how to manage these complex sites stably and efficiently over the next 10 years.
