Reasons for installing compact components in control cabinets: Less space for individual components means valuable space for more technology, more room for good air circulation and a clearer layout. Additional devices that are part of the infrastructure but are installed close to the door area rather than in the main area of the control cabinet also require compact connection components.

Space-saving: small rail-mounted terminal

For these compact connection components, there is often little remaining space near the actual control cabinet components, either for installation or for power supply. In order to connect industrial equipment, such as fans for cooling in control cabinets, particularly compact connecting elements are required.

TOPJOB® S small rail-mounted terminal blocks are ideal for these applications. Equipment connections are usually established in industrial environments close to production lines. In this environment, small rail-mounted terminal blocks use spring connection technology, which has the advantages of reliable connection and resistance to vibration.

Control cabinet installation of small rail-mounted terminal blocks

The 2050/2250 series of small rail-mounted terminal blocks are suitable for connecting wires with a cross-sectional area of 1mm². They can be easily installed in the fan control cabinet using the mounting flange on the mounting plate, or can be optionally installed on DIN rail 15.

In the application example shown, the terminal block product for push buttons has been installed. Multiple operating methods are available – push button or operating hole – and two small rail-mounted terminal blocks (1mm² and 25mm²) can be easily connected according to your needs. Ample marking space allows for clear marking, simplifying installation and maintenance.
