The Han® 55 DDD's compact design already helps reduce the overall size of control equipment. Combined with the PCB adapter, this allows for further miniaturization of application systems while maintaining high-performance connectivity. The adapter is compatible with existing Han® 55 DDD male and female contacts and features a dedicated press-fit grounding opening for easier grounding.

The Han® 55 DDD PCB adapter supports PCBs up to 1.6 mm thick, operates in temperatures ranging from -40 to +125°C, and withstands shock and vibration tests according to the railway standard Cat. 1B. It also meets the flame retardancy requirements of DIN EN 45545-2. The PE wiring can be connected to the housing using standard Han® crimp pins, supporting a maximum current of 8.2 A for 2.5 mm² wire at 40°C, achieving a balance between miniaturization and high reliability.
